Home to five military installations including the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Colorado Springs community has long desired a national cemetery in which to lay their heroes to rest.
The fall 2018 opening of Pikes Peak National Cemetery is significant to both military families in Pikes Peak region and to all of us at Aqua Engineering who had the privilege of designing the irrigation and pumping systems for the site.
On Nov. 1, the first four veterans to be buried at Pikes Peak National Cemetery were laid to rest, as captured by 9News.
