EMILY BURTON

Meet Emily Burton, she is a U.S. Army veteran, a licensed REALTOR®, and Business Operation Manager for Aqua Engineering Inc. Emily joined our elite design team in September 2024. Service and helping others are her driving passions. Additionally, she is a local Northern Colorado native and a mother to four amazing children. Emily uniquely met her husband at a local dog park in Northern Colorado. Her husband, Robert Burton, works in the Oil and Gas industry and is originally from Illinois. Throughout Emily’s diverse career, she has worked in various industries, including Early Childhood Education, Human Resource Management, Business Operations, Logistics, Accounting and Government Service. Not only does she have a vast knowledge in different fields, but Emily has also had the luxury to live abroad and experience life overseas in places such as Eritrea Africa, Vienna Austria and Belgrade Serbia. After living abroad for nearly five years, she returned home to Northern Colorado in November 2021. Living abroad has fueled her love of exploration and broadened her worldview. Emily’s professional and personal life experiences have illuminated her passions and have sharpened her skills in all aspects of her career. In Emily’s free time, she loves traveling with her family, watching our projects at Aqua Engineering inc. design comes to life while exploring state parks, hiking, camping, visiting local splash pads and paddle boarding - taking full advantage of the year-round adventures Colorado has to offer. Also, you can find her coaching her kids’ soccer teams and playing with their dogs. Emily has said she “enjoys working at Aqua Engineering Inc. as we are not just a company, we are a family.
