The Westin Resort Hotel underwent a major capital improvement program that included improvements to the hotel, site landscaping and existing water features. Aqua Engineering, Inc. worked with the Denver office of Design Workshop and completed design work for the water features and the landscape irrigation system.

Aqua Engineering, Inc.’s design work included an analysis of the existing mechanical system, piping, hydraulics, and electrical controls. Subsequent to the analysis, design was completed that utilized portions of the existing piping. The design included a new circulation pump, high rate sand filter, and a programmable logic controller.

A report discussing maintenance priorities, equipment, and operation was prepared. Construction observation services were provided.
