Aqua Engineering conceptualized, designed, and installed a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system along six sites of the Riverside Irrigation District in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

This system enables the district personnel to monitor water levels on a computer inside the Riverside Irrigation District office, instead of site-to-site data collection.

In fact, the data can be viewed from anywhere in the world since it is being uploaded to a web server via satellite link on the hour. Due to the extended distances and adverse terrain between sites on the Riverside Irrigation District system, the use of satellite links reduced the number of sites that would have been required by the spread spectrum radio alternative
