Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex
Las Vegas, NV
Aqua Engineering, Inc.’s scope of services included construction
document development and construction observation. The irrigation
system consists of rotary sprinklers for the sports fields and large turf
areas, spray sprinklers for smaller turf areas, and a hard-pipe drip
system for native plants. The rotary sprinklers include rubber covers in
playfield areas for durability and to reduce the chance for injury.
Two points of connection and pumping stations were required due to a
storm drainage channel that divides the site into two parcels. Both
systems are monitored and serviced by the City of Las Vegas central
control system.
