Aqua Engineering worked with the project design team including the City of Avondale, landscape architect, engineering firms, and the contractor to complete the irrigation system and irrigation pump system components for the City of Avondale Youth Sports Complex in Avondale, Arizona.

Design work included a new ground water well pump and controls, discharge pipe from the well to the storage lake, a water feature at the lake, lake grading, lining system, overflow structure, mechanical aeration system, pump intake system, and irrigation pump station. A 600 GPM ground water pump was used to supply the lake and the 600 GPM prefabricated, variable frequency drive pump station provided pressurized water to the landscape irrigation system of the complex.
