Aqua Engineering worked with the artist to create the required architectural and aesthetic effects. A model was constructed at the artist’s studio to determine the water flow rates necessary to achieve the desired effect. Aqua Engineering, Inc. designed the mechanical system, underground vault, piping, necessary fittings, and controls.

The mechanical system includes circulation pumps, high rate sand filters, a programmable logic controller, and balance control valves.
